Top 10 Concepts To Improve This Team:

1. Committment
- Practice, conditioning, and tournaments cannot be something that you do when you feel like it. Be there, period.

2. Look to improve everyday
- During pre-practice tossing don't throw all scoobers or low release thumbers. Don't slack off during drills or scrimmaging. Play intense at practice. Use each facet of every practice to better your game. Do not waste any of the 2 hours we spend down on 73.

3. No Excuses
- Everyone has social, academic, and other obligations. Don't constantly find excuses why you can't show up.

4. Time Management
- Going off #3...Everyone here is going to college. We all have schoolwork to do. Manage your time well and be responsible academically so that you can make each practice and tournament.

5. Self-Motivate
- There is only so much the leadership and team can do to get you pumped and working hard. Get yourself individually motivated to work out on your own and get excited during games.

6. Don't Be Selfish
- Don't put yourself above the team and feel that you are entitled to something. Whether it is more playing time, a certain position on the field, etc. Prove it by your attedance and performance on the field.

7. Be Responsible
- Be on time. Be prepared in the mornings of tournaments. Pay dues on time. Do all the little things that you must take care of as an individual.

8. Push Your Teammates
- When you are throwing with a teammate, give them advice on their throws. Work together to get better. Find a partner to work out with and push each other to run faster and longer. We're in this together and need to push each other forward.

9. Watch Elite Level Players
- There is a certain level of play that the pick up games or scrimmages you've played in can show you. Buy a DVD and watch the way these guys throw, cut, mark, etc. You can then take these skills and elevate your game and the team's game.

10. Recognize
- Realize that this is THE season for Miami Ultimate. We have never had this much potential and this much at stake. In your college ultimate careers you are lucky if you get the chance to do something special. We have lost 3 player in 3 years. You WON'T get a chance like this again. Make the most of it and make it a year you'll always remember.
